Peter Chipkin, has worked in the control and automation industry since 1988. Industry experience ranges through mining, food and beverage and building controls. Career highlights includes team leader in the development of the world’s first ISA SP88 compliant PLC programming tool called Magus, automation of the process plant at Red Dog Mine in Alaska, leading his own staff in the development of over 40 protocol drivers and being part of a team rolling out embedded BACnet.

Peter is a graduate with a B.SC in Geophysics and a Diploma in Datametrics. His current focus is the development of independent BACnet tools and system integration trouble shooting as a partner in the AGP Support Group.
